The Agree/Disagree Activity engages choir members in critical thinking.  It also helps a teacher assess what students know. 

Procedure:    In a music class, a teacher can ask questions such as:

1. If you think you the lyrics of the song represent “…”, go to this side. If not, go to the opposite side. 

2. Look at this musical notation.  If you think the correct syllables are “…”, go to this side.  If not, go to the opposite side.
